HTTP API reference

IAMMETER supports local HTTP APIs. This simulator implements only a subset of the firmware interfaces.

Reactive adds EA.Reactive only to monitorjson and uploads. Each row contains reactive power in var, inductive energy in kvarh and capacitive energy in kvarh.

Only WEM3050T supports NEM. When enabled, the fourth Datas row sums three-phase active power, import energy and export energy; its other fields are zero.

Data / Datas field order: voltage (V), current (A), active power (W), import energy (kWh), export energy (kWh), frequency (Hz), power factor.

Connect to the shared Modbus service

IAMMETER Modbus/TCP documentation

All models share the full three-phase register map. Selecting a model on the page does not change the Modbus data.

MODBUS / TCP
Server addresssimulator.iammeter.com:502
Unit IDAny value, echoed unchanged
Read function codes03 / 04
EncodingBig-endian, high word first

Public deployment: device Local Web and local APIs support HTTP on port 80 and HTTPS on port 443. The portal, documentation and admin use HTTPS. HTTP and HTTPS device sessions are separate. Native Modbus/TCP uses a separate TCP port (default 502); enter a hostname and port, not a URL. Upload destinations have independent HTTP/HTTPS settings.

WEM3080 uses phase A, WEM2067 uses channels A and B, and WEM3050T uses phases A, B and C. Unit ID does not select a model. Divide Modbus energy counters by 800 for every model; do not use the physical single-phase meter scaling of 3200. Use an external Modbus client to connect over TCP.

Legacy register map

Addresses are zero-based protocol addresses. Each 32-bit field occupies two consecutive registers.
