A measures inverter generation as positive power. B measures grid power: positive for import and negative for export. Every value on C is zero.

The inverter operates at unity power factor. Grid power equals household demand minus inverter generation; the grid supplies the household reactive demand.

Positive power accumulates import kWh; negative power accumulates export kWh. On A, import kWh represents generated energy.

Energy accumulates across days and restarts.

Load profile summary

Solar generation follows a smooth curve from 06:00 to 18:00 with a 3,000 W peak at noon. Generation is zero at night.

Household demand combines all three channels of the Home grid without solar profile. Daytime surplus is exported; the grid supplies demand at night.

These daily totals describe a complete simulated day. A newly started meter counts energy only from its saved start time.

Daily peak active power

Peaks are calculated from the one-second model, rather than estimated from the chart.

Measurement rules

No harmonics are simulated.

S = √(P² + Q²)I = S / VPF = |P| / SΔimport kWh = max(P, 0) × Δt / 3,600,000Δexport kWh = max(-P, 0) × Δt / 3,600,000Δkvarh = Q × Δt / 3,600,000

Time is measured in seconds; P in W, Q in var, S in VA.

This configuration is read-only.
